Renowned Painter Giorgi Manoyan Honored with Medal

On September 2, 2025, at the Hovhannes Tumanyan House Center for Science and Culture of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, Diocesan Primate His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan presented the distinguished painter Giorgi Manoyan with the Diocese’s honorary “Hovhannes Tumanyan 150” commemorative medal.

In his words of blessing and congratulations, Bishop Kirakos Davtyan praised painter Giorgi Manoyan’s dedication to uncovering and preserving the Armenian heritage of Tbilisi from the veil of oblivion, passing it on to future generations through his graphic and oil paintings. He highlighted the artist’s unwavering love for his birthplace and wished him good health and continued creative success.
