Concert of "Zenith" Band and "Hayos Band" Ensemble and Traditional Dance Masterclass in Avlabari

According to the calendar of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Holy Church, April 27, 2025, was the New Sunday of Easter.

On that day, with the blessing His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, the "Hayartun" Center of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia (Director: Eugenia Markosyan) hosted the delegation of the "Mkhitar Sebastatsi" Educational Complex from the Republic of Armenia, led by the Director of the Senior School, Martha Asatryan. These two educational and cultural centers are bound by years of cooperation, numerous joint projects, and events.

The Feast of the New Sunday of Easter was celebrated in Avlabari district with a joint concert featuring the "Zenith" band of the "Mkhitar Sebastatsi" Educational Complex (led by Aram Sargsyan), the traditional dance ensemble (choreographer: Hamazasp Aslanyan), and the "Hayos Band" vocal-instrumental ensemble of the "Hayartun" Center (artistic director: Vladimir Asaturov). The event also included a masterclass in Armenian national dance, which involved the "Taron" dance ensemble of the "Hayartun" Center (choreographer: Suren Abramyan). Armenian songs and music echoed through Avlabari, with dances and round dances spreading throughout the celebration.

The festive spirit of the day did not leave anyone indifferent — young and old, men and women joined in the traditional Armenian round dance. The joyful concert of song and dance, along with the masterclass, truly became a beautiful event for spreading national culture.
